To stop receiving pre-approved offers from Experian, call 1-888-5OPT-OUT (1-888-567-8688). This number is also used for opting out of preapproved offers from Innovis, TransUnion, and Equifax.
You will be given the option to opt out for five years or permanently. If you choose to opt out permanently, you’ll receive a Notice of Election to Opt Out Permanently in the mail. Sign and return this notice to complete your permanent opt-out request.

To remove your contact information from Experian’s telemarketing lists, contact Experian at 1-402-458-5247. Alternatively, you may send your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address to optout@experian.com or to the following address:

In your message, specify that you wish to be removed from telemarketing lists. If you move or change your name, you will need to opt out again with your new address or name. Keep in mind that this does not remove your name from the Experian marketing database. Instead, your name will be marked as “Do Not Call” for five years.

1. If you are a resident of California, you have the right to request that Experian.com delete any personal information about you that they have collected. To submit your request, go to Experian’s online portal. You may also access this portal by scrolling to the bottom of the Experian home page, clicking the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link in the footer, then clicking the “Online Portal” link.
2. Click the “Get Started” button, then fill in the empty fields with your name, Social Security number, date of birth, address, phone number, and email address. Click the “Save and Continue” button once all your information has been entered.
